Dr. Khandaker Alamgir Hossain, Executive Director of Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK), has signed MoU with the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) to implement a project titled “Achieving a Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Society through Enhanced Engagement of Civil Society and Citizens in Bangladesh” in four upazilas under Bogura district today.

To ensure the effective implementation of grassroots-level activities, including citizen mobilisation, social audits, and local authority engagement, CPD seeks to collaborate with Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK). This partnership aims to synergize efforts for impactful programme outcomes at the field level. The overall goals of the project is to empower marginalised communities, strengthen local governance, and promote evidence-based policymaking to achieve two SDGs on SDG 5 and SDG 16.
