GUK Eye Hospital

  • Service of the institution is national level but at affordable cost
  • Subsidized / free service for poor people
  • No one is deprived of service due to lack of money
  • Surplus money is used for poor patients
  • The hospital is operated by the income of the hospital, GUK CSR fund and donation from GoB and other agencies

GUK Free Eye Camps

  • 1,70,000 patients received eye care services including 9,500 successful surgery (cataract / SICS / Phaco / DCT / DCR / Chalazion / Evisceration / Pterygium)
  • 4,550  poor patients received cataract / SICS surgery free of cost
  • More than 2 lac patients received free eye care service through 1000 free eye camps
