Updating Beneficiary Categorization under SWAPNO II Project

Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) has been implementing Livelihoods Skills Training for the Project Strengthen Women Ability For Productive New Opportunities (SWAPNO II) with the financial and technical support of United Nations Development Programme – UNDP.

The SWAPNO project has been covering 283 Unions of 32 sub-districts in 12 districts: Jamalpur, Sherpur, Gaibandha Lalmonirhat, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Cumilla, Chandpur, Gopalgonj, Bagerhat, Pirojpur and Patuakhali.

Under the SWAPNO Project, GUK has been working to deliver trade-specific technical skills to 6,000 project beneficiaries through local service providers and ensure the quality of the training program through a real-time monitoring mechanism so that the beneficiaries can start income-generating activities at home.
